Today is 25th November, 2008. I, Purna Chandra Swain or shortly as PC studied here in my hometown Athagarh in the High School named Biswanath Bidyapitha (BNBP) during the session 1996-1999.
I was used to be called as 'PC' by my beloved teachers and heartily friends from the very beginning of my joining this school, means from Class VIII. This name was gifted to me by our new science madam posted recently at that time in our school. What happened, one day while returning our science copies she called the name as PC for someone to take his copy. Though I had listened that name, but expecting for someone else to come. As no one responded so far for the 2nd call too, I thought deeply and identified that copy as of mine and then analyzed her call resulting that short name was intended for me only. Bcz PC for Purna Chandra. Instead of speaking anyone or looking anywhere I went silently and took up from Mam. But no one yet could be able to catch the mystery and after some moments of misterious silence someone asked the matter to Mam. She replied that the name is too complex as well as long too; so PC stands for Purna Chandra. “Will it not be cute and good one to call him with this name?” All responded delightfully “YES”.
From that day, I was used to be called as PC by all of my senior brothers, classmates and teachers along with our respected Headmaster also. Really, I love the name, all they provided with me, too much!
